Hair Botox is your go-to if you need deep hydration and repair. It’s ideal for dry, damaged hair in need of intensive conditioning. This treatment fills in gaps in the hair cuticle, leaving your strands smoother and healthier.
How soon can I wash my hair after the treatment?

How long does the Brazilian & Hair Botox last?
You can expect your hair to stay fabulously smooth and frizz-free for up to 3 months with proper aftercare. Just think of all that time you'll save not wrestling with your hair every morning!
Will my hair go back to normal after Brazilian or Hair Botox?
As the effects of the treatment diminish, your hair will return to its natural texture, just like before. Usually after around 3 months
How do I make my Brazilian / Hair Botox last longer?
Do I need to use any special products after the treatment?
Yes! To keep your hair looking its best, use sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners. We’ve got a range of aftercare products designed to keep your hair smooth and shiny for longer.
Can I colour my hair when using Brazilian or Hair Botox?
You sure can! If you’re planning to colour your hair, do it before your treatment for the best results. If you want to colour afterward, just wait about two weeks to give your hair a little breather.
Can I use heat styling tools after the treatment?
Yes, you can. The treatment helps to protect your hair from damage caused by heat. We do always recommend using a Heat Protective Spray to be even more protected!
Can I Use Brazilian Keratin or Hair Botox on My 100% Human Hair Extensions/Wig?
In most cases, yes! Both Brazilian Keratin and Hair Botox are safe for use on 100% Human Hair extensions or wigs.
However, we recommend checking directly with your hair supplier, as some companies may have specific guidelines around this and their warranties.
When in doubt, always confirm with the manufacturer.

Can I change my order?

How can I cancel my order?
If you’d like to cancel your order (though we can’t imagine why you’d want to!), just drop us a note through our Contact Us page. We can process cancellations as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet...
Can I change my delivery address after I have placed my order?

What are the shipping costs?
If your order totals less than R650, there’s a courier fee of R89. But if your order is R650 or more, shipping is on us!
When can I expect my order?
We’re quick on our feet! Orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours of payment, Monday to Friday.

Where do you deliver?
We only deliver to physical addresses—no post boxes, please! Make sure your delivery address is accurate and that someone is around to accept the parcel. If you’re not home, using your work address might be a smart move.

What is your Returns & Refunds policy?
Tame Your Mane or Your Money Back
We stand by our products, because we know they work. So if you’ve followed our instructions to the T, used sulphate-free aftercare products, and still don’t feel that your hair is softer, sleeker, shinier, and more manageable, we’ll give you your money back. Simple as that.
To get started, email us at returns@medusaprofessional.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue. We might ask a few quick questions (or for a photo) to understand what went wrong—so we can improve—but that’s it.
Please note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
Standard Returns
Not the right fit or had a change of heart? No problem. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, as long as your item is unused, in its original condition, and still in its original packaging.
Just email returns@medusaprofessional.com before sending anything back. We'll guide you through the steps. (Items sent without requesting a return first won’t be accepted.)

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll make it right, fast and cover any shipping costs to fix the issue.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if the refund has been approved. If it is, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Keep in mind that your bank or credit card provider might take a few extra days to reflect the refund on your statement.
If it’s been more than 15 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at returns@medusaprofessional.com.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can make it right.
